Hi everyone, yesterday I submited new css login and registration form: http://codecanyon.net/item/usable-css-login-register-form/3871191
But, it’s pure css – so css category. Today I developed a complete jquery/javascript validation and made it move with clean jquery effects. So, questions is:
Is it better to update actual version – with two variations: Pure CSS and With jQuery validation (and how about a price? I don’t want the item cost more money, maybe)
OR
Submit this jQuery version to Javascript Forms category? So there will be 2 items (in CSS and Javascript).
Thanks for help
I personally would probably submit a jQuery version separately and in your description have something like:
“looking for a jQuery version? click here” and so on.

Go for a separate version, when the javascript takes an important part, it should be in the JS category (and I guess that it would be rejected in the CSS section for that reason).
Additionnally, you could face a rejection in the JS category aswell if you submit something “too simple” (I experienced it). It looks like there’s place only for items that are either complete jquery scripts / plugins OR 100% CSS. But a CSS element improved with javascript doesn’t fit anywhere…
woo i’m surprise that how envato approved this, but anyways make sure to remove your link, because no self-promoting allowed.

It’s fine to post a link for feedback.
Thanks everyone, I’ll go for separate version than.

I’m sorry, I thought about it, but didn’t realize. Definitely don’t want to self-promote.

Asking for feedback in the ‘Item discussion’ section is (and has always been) fine, nothing wrong with that. But there are users who flag any post containing a link.
