I’m in process of ordering my new configuration and I’ll take 2 of these: Dell UltraSharp U2713HM 69cm(27”) LED monitor VGA,DVI,DP,HDMI (2560×1440) Black EUR

I read the reviews, and they don’t seem bad :)

I’ve a BenQ G2420HD and have both my PS3 and mac-mini connected to it. It’s good for both gaming(full hd) and coding(just enough screen space). Check amazon for it. It has only positive reviews

Thunderbolt display. The moment I see a cheaper glossy 27-inch 2560 resolution monitor I will go for it. For now it’s just the apple monitor, and it’s awesome.

Yes, I’m a fan of glossy displays, the colors are much better.

If you have a PC, the Dell monitors already mentioned are probably the best quality out there. I’d go with the 27” model, every review I’ve seen marks it as a must have.

If you’re on a Mac, especially the new Macbook Pro Retina models, a Thunderbolt Display makes more sense, due to connectivity. I am in this category, but I’m still waiting for them to release an update for it; at least to have USB 3 ports and, why not, maybe even an audio output for my headphones :D
