Hey, I was thinking about making a debut to ThemeForest and the first question that popped in my mind was – who is buying themes? End customers, developers doing client work? Both?

Would be nice to hear some opinions or even better – observations.

Cheers!

Hey,

From what I’ve seen – all kinds of people. From absolute beginners to bloggers, creatives, artists, agencies, freelancers or fellow authors who simply found something interesting in your theme and want to learn. Cheers! :)

I agree with DI – I have seen complete beginners using themes and files from here. I have seen agencies pushing out client work using themes from here. Our team sometimes buy project files to use as frameworks or use certain bits of code. I even seem to remember even one of the Korean government websites was built using a theme from here!

Make a theme that stands out and there is no end to the possibility of buyers. Good luck with your project!
