Hey, I was thinking about making a debut to ThemeForest and the first question that popped in my mind was – who is buying themes? End customers, developers doing client work? Both?
Would be nice to hear some opinions or even better – observations.
Cheers!
Hey,
From what I’ve seen – all kinds of people. From absolute beginners to bloggers, creatives, artists, agencies, freelancers or fellow authors who simply found something interesting in your theme and want to learn. Cheers!

Very helpful, thanks!
I agree with DI – I have seen complete beginners using themes and files from here. I have seen agencies pushing out client work using themes from here. Our team sometimes buy project files to use as frameworks or use certain bits of code. I even seem to remember even one of the Korean government websites was built using a theme from here!
Make a theme that stands out and there is no end to the possibility of buyers. Good luck with your project!
