I heard about NHP Framework. Can anyone help me about it and can explain the licensing term about it. I have decided to buy an option framework here, but is NHP is better to implement an option panel in the theme’s?

I am also using a modified version of the framework in my latest themes. It’s a real joy to work with.

I’ve used Nhp for a theme but i ended up there’s too bugs to solve and some fields didn’t works properly. For my upcoming themes i will use http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/ with the “options page” add on which can be used for themes.

I think it’s definitely a better choice.

The base plugin is free but the options panel add on is 25$ . i’ve asked the author if it’s ok to use in Tf Themes and he said yes. With minor changes you can add it in your theme (instead as a plugin) and hide the plugin control panel to the Wordpress menu. Cannot wait to release my next theme with this panel.

Hey, NHP seems like a serious contender for theme option frames. But like you I CANNOT find resources, tuts or example code anywhere but the git. Have you had any success with it?

So NHP has officially merged with Redux Framework. http://reduxframework.com

The develop behind NHP, Lee Mason, is now the Redux Architect.

Even if you don’t want to switch frameworks, at least give Redux a try. I think you’ll be shocked. You can find the plugin here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/redux-framework/

Runs as a plugin or embedded. Fully complies with ThemeForest requirements. We’ve made sure of that.

I have used NHP for my first theme but as it is merged with Redux now so I think for next themes, I will be using Redux framework.
