Hi everybody,

You think who should set the price for our works? ourselves? or TF?

Ever wanted to create a very perfect template but stopped when recalled the maximum price here is 35 bucks? ever this max price made you reduce the quality (read time & energy) of your work?

Let me know what do you think.

TF, because if authors are allowed to set prices themselves then everybody will try to under cut each other and one day you will be thinking to sell your template for $1. ;)

This is a stock site though, it’s not so much about the price you sell your template, but how many times you sell it. If you look at the top selling files on TF, you can see that the income can be great for one template.

So it would be quite the opposite, you should improve quality and time you spend on your templates, and get up there with the top selling authors and make $$$, welcome to the battle :-)

Perhaps because people are unwilling to give more for a theme that won’t be unique and “for my own use only”? ;)

Envato ALLLLLLLLLL THE WAY !!! Letting us do it is a crazy idea, the market would turn into a total price war, people wouldnt give their items a higher price, they would sell them as cheap as possible too under cut everyone else…..its not about the price of the product but the amount you sell so giving people the option of choosing their own prices is just asking for trouble

IMO :)
