I have a feeling that that file was priced a 75 bucks because he doesn’t want others to spend their money on it. Maybe, perhaps, and I’m just guessing, he is satisfied with the 4 buyers he has acquired already. Who knows?

Heheh.. you think it was purchased 4 times at 75?? :D Don’t worry It wasn’t. It’s one of the site’s little gags.. :P

WHO SHOULD SET THE PRICE ?

me! :D

Please, let me know if you have other questions.
I’ll be glad to help you out with the answers! :D

Yeah of course How come it was never thought of !

I vote Angel for Envato internal price setting adjudicator. He’s the right man for the job. He should get a 6 figure salary 8)

Ok well in order to keep this thread on track :)

I think it’s pretty clear by the voices here that there is a general consensus and understanding that individual price setting would not do the community much (read any) good.. It’s transparent to me that if it were the case, prices would be out of control and it would be the downfall of stability on the marketplaces.

agree with everyone else, Envato should set pricing as it is now.

I wonder what would it take for a wordpress theme to be priced at 75$ ...kailoon?

I’m too curious as to what it would take to price a WP theme at $75, paging Kailoon….

I would never trust my self with setting prices. As would with other designers

I would love to think of how price would affect sales, but that’ll leave me with little time developing instead of thinking how design would affect sales. Envato is doing a great job.

It seems that we’re not talking about THEMEFOREST anymore.

I wouldn’t want ThemeForest to become a price war between its users, so I’d vote to not choose my price, I think they are fairly priced, they sell at that price so it must be okay. I don’t think I’d earn as much if I set the prices myself, I’d either go too low or too high for the community.
