Wouldn’t it be nice if we could create bundles?

Nope, it would certainly be not. Underevaluating items more than they already are isn’t a respectful marketing decision (no matter what Envato does with it’s bundles). Unfair competition would arise and so the marketplace would be doomed

Author 1 has 300 items
Author 2 has 3 items

Both make bundles of all of their items for $30 – Whos going to get more sales? Quantity over quality

Hi Egemen , the prices are already unbelievably low.
Agreed with Ruben here
I am against any efforts of undervaluing fellow authors’ hardWork (including you).

Kind Regards, Egemen, Wish you all the best with your sales.

Audiojungle peeps can do music packs…? Can no-one else really sell groups of files together? Seems odd. A lot of those packs do reaaaally well in AJ.

You can’t create bundles, but you can create collections and promote them on your profile page for instance.

There may be some limitations. For examle, maximum 3 bundle per author or maximum 3 item in a bundle or maximum 30% discount etc. It is just an idea of course :)

Themeforest makes unbelievable bundles with very low prices, I agree that these kinds of bundles create unfair competition… but I’m not talking about these kinds of bundles

We weren’t talking about that either. Unfair competition would arise even if you would bundle 3 items. This would totally be wrong and would damage the authors who wouldn’t want to bundle their items.

Doesn’t sound like a very good idea to me… I think the way the marketplace is is already fine…

Well you should look at it from a buyer’s perspective not only from a commercial point of view. When you have a WP version, HTML version and PSD, buyer’s would be happy to have it all in one package rather than buying the 3 of them seperately (it also guarantees to buyers that they will get a uniform set of templates instead of having asymmetries between the products)

including html & psd for free in a WP package is a sort of bundle but it would be a better win-win situation if you can bundle it a formal way with a little price increase (e.g. 60$ instead of 45$)
