Why does approvals last so long?

I wait now 3 days for the updates approval of a theme I’ve bought (http://themeforest.net/item/inspiredblog/59707). The author has send them for approval 3 days ago. And until today no new files are available.

I watch every day the new templates at themeforest, and I must say, there aren’t soooo much themes every day, that there is soooo much work for approval.

For buyers working at their projects, updates are really necessary and it is absolutely annoying, if they have to wait 3 days and more of it.

Themeforest approves files relatively quick when compared to other stock marketplaces. The fact that there aren’t much new templates every day doesn’t mean that there is not much work to do. Most of the templates submitted by authors do not get approved, but believe me – there are lots of them.

Just be patient, or ask the author to send you the updated files…

yes, it’s true.. there’s a lot of approval to be done each and every day i see at least 1 wave of approvals…. people are working hard here and only best quality is being approved… this is the best marketplaces ever!

it happened to one of my files too. they approved it but with some error so my file was unavailable for several days. the only thing that helps is bugging support again and again.

@colorit – Unless under extreme circumstances, it never takes three days. I just checked our update queue, and I’m not seeing anything. Has it been reviewed already?
