Why does other CSS files take over my style.css when I enqueue it in function.php?

Nothing changed in the order, there’s no !important and there’s one damn CSS file that take over my style.css anytime it can .. it wasn’t happening before.

Anybody knows why?

is it a plugin?

Maybe the file has more specific css rules. Read more

Nah, I don’t know what it was .. I just changed the CSS accordingly :)

I’m assuming you’re correctly hooking your stylesheet into wp_enqueue_scripts. If so, you just need to set the priority higher.
