why doesn't my theme sell?

hello people

I have released a mobile .psd theme a couple of days ago at TF. I know psd templates do not sell well compared to other categories, but I honestly believe that it is a descent theme, with a lot of effort put on it.

i would appreciate some feedback on it, concerning what issues you may spot (description, preview images etc.). thanks in advance!

Here on ThemeForest the PSD category is a small niche, and within that small niche you created another, even smaller niche.

I think that this could be the the main reason.

Since you only have one theme, it’s not that hard to find it so stop mentioning it, could be understood as self-promotion. IMHO your design does not have a target audience, and if it has, the audience is too small. I don’t really consider it an outstanding design either so I don’t understand why it has been accepted in the first place, since usually PSD files are damn top notch on here. I wouldn’t expect more than maybe 10 sales to be honest. And they will come randomly, not steady. It has been online for 2 days only so patience is a virtue still.

I’ll be brutally honest and say theres virtually no market and the design doesn’t bring anything new to the table.

We’ve got couple of templates in PSD category, so…

My advice is to consider your items accepted to PSD category as a confirmation of your good skills and creativeness. Also it increases chances that this item will be approved as an HTML of WP theme.

PSD is not about money, it’s about prestige
