The screenshot is a little small but,

It looks a little outdated and doesn’t compare to the quality that is available in the psd categories.

Not enough to it. Needs more sections.

Inconsistent, large gap between ‘know more about us’ and the paragraph below it.

Social media icons are squashed against each other.

It’s too plain.

Have a look at what the other psd’s are offering :)

Take your PC and throw it from 9th floor. Don’t even try to open Photoshop after.

Now a days there is so many frameworks, as for example from Designmodo, buy Developer licence, learn how spacings done, fonts theory, check trendy accepted PSD themes. Seems to me you didn’t even did that. Most of authors here are at least 5 years in this industry, and they even never had themes like that.

With templates like that sent to review, normal themes are longer in moderation queue. Sad.

Even more sad, there is even nothing to comment to improve in you file. Of course I’ve to add, 1 PSD page is not enough.

I think we’re all a little fed up with your 12 years old thinking, you can’t even make a decent business decision. Either way, I’d say you have to be the only one guy around here that spreads so much garbage, it’s unbelievable.

Your designs look like complete trash, an immitation of the flat style, but without any enchancements. I’m sure that if you were to design something without the access to the internet, you wouldn’t have the creativity to do it, without huge inspiration from others.

Oh, that trip to Saint Tropez – by earning and sales (who knows me know I’m truthful), I can barely afford that place, and we’re speaking lots of money earned here. How the hell did you go there?

If you leave replies like that to somebody who’s trying to make it and atleast isn’t ignorant to say “omfg my designs best y u reject me.” like you sometimes do, then you deserve the hit of the bannhammer. I wanted to keep it cool, but you can’t reply that to a newbie who came here to seek help. You just can’t, man. That’s a dead giveaway you’re not nearly as successful as you’d like to think you are. A good businessman will never trash anybody and especially for no reason.

Please leave this forum, I come here to read good things from other fellow authors, not your garbage.

Thank you.

Hey – as pixeful said, but..remove the harsh words, this looks old! But, that’s okay, you can get better. The only thing that you should focus on, now is getting better at thinking as a designer and knowing what looks good. Look here: http://www.awwwards.com/

And compare it with yours. You’ll understand many things, needless to say them here :)

Oh, and people that you love the design of. For now – just copy others’ styles and see which one is fitting. Good luck!

I’m sure you were born with all your design “skills” overnight. Man, you have serious problems of communicating, have you tried talking to someone about this? You don’t see people with over $250k, $1M writing trashy stuff about bad designs and here come you, that barely have two WordPress themes, thinking you’re the damn thing here.

I saw that you do the same thing most of the time, on forums, with customers, you really need to talk to someone about your problem. Most of your topics and messages you leave on the forum deserve the same message you posted here, yet nobody’s writing that to you.

Take a breath, go out and really, really, stop opening the forums. For real.

You should really learn something from charlie or other members that try to help here. ;)

ontopic: That design is, indeed, far off the standards here, I’d suggest reading some tutorials about spacing, colors, typography and checking the already-approved library of PSD designs

Hi,

I think that the design doesn’t meet the standard of the criteria required for this website. The issue is that the bar is set quite high – you have to ask yourself, who would your target audience be for this PSD design, and why would they buy this design rather than one of the thousands of other designs by established authors on here?

You are a new author (and welcome to Envato!) – so if anything, the barrier for entry is even higher – as you will need to win support with your first PSD theme.

Generally, while some of the decisions can be contentious, it looks in this instance that I would have to agree with the moderator’s decision.

Some of the posts on this forum can be harsh – so if you intend to survive on here, you may really need to look past some of the more personally critical posts, to what they are saying underneath.

At the end of the day, this site is very high volume – and I guess that some of the forum posters get a little frustrated at times and say things in a less than constructive tone – try to take from these posts the constructive points, and become a better designer.

Welcome to the forums!
