Totally yes.
I remember that I made a full script with microdata markup with stars, reviews & stuff, and definitely CodeCanyon will be approved by Google for such thing (they select which website will appear in results with microdata (stars and stuff)).
This could lead into more traffic on CodeCanyon which means more possible buyers and authors.
This is a really nice suggestion, +1 from me.
