Because the green badges ( http://graphicriver.net/community/badges ) mean “beta tester for one of Envato’s new marketplaces”. While the marketplaces offer digital goods, Microlancer is a platform which offers digital services. So, it’s different because it’s not a marketplace for digital goods.

They made it different, just to make us wonder if there will ever be a red beta tester icon :D

When you hover your mouse over a badge you can see the badge description text “Microlancer Beta Tester” so it is obviously a badge created specially for users who helped with the launch of Microlancer. :)

This page needs an update. There are a lot of other badges than these listed there.

I just saw they update our Beta Badges. They remove burner from our new Beta Badge. Which was situated under our Beta Badge. Anyone noticed yet ?

There’s another (more general) thread about the badge here: http://graphicriver.net/forums/thread/the-new-blue-beta-tester-badges-are-awesome/96938

Turns out that was just the Support badge playing peek-a-boo, as the Beta Tester sprite was 2 pixels too small ;)
