Ok here’s a question i’m asking myself from the beginning.

Why portfolio is the only theme that sells .. it seem like non-sense for me because I think that webdesigner are supposed to be the person who doesnt need someone else to do their website …

Maybe ours portfolio theme are used for something else that I don’t think about ? .. I dont know .. what you guys think ?

Portfolios are not the only thing that sells on TF. Why they are so popular however, is up for debate.

I think it’s because that they are so editable and form a good framework for most kinds of sites!

I dont think that portfolio themes are the only ones that actually sell well here… Take a look at some corporate themes, they are quite popular as well.

But as for the wordpress section, I agree with you.

Maybe it is because sometimes designers are so overwhelmed that they just dont have time to design / code / test they’re own portfolio page and TF provides really nice and affordable solution for them :)

Web designers aren’t the only ones in need of portfolios!

What about:

- photogs - illustrators/painters - fashion designers - makeup designers - writers - screen designers (with little knowledge of development) - etc.
