Flash Gaming Summit 2012

Entering its 4th year in operation, the Flash Gaming Summit continues to be the place for Flash gaming news and information. This year we’re excited to offer a 15% discount off the ticket prices for anyone from our wonderful community who would like to attend and even a chance to win 2 tickets.

What is the Flash Gaming Summit?

The Flash Gaming Summit is an annual one-day conference dedicated to fostering the growth and success of the Flash games community. The conference brings together leaders in the Flash games space to share industry insights and strategies on successful game design, development, and monetization.

This year’s official theme is Maximize Your Game. Here is the reason why from the official site:

Game developers (and the industry in general) are doing amazing things with Flash games. We are seeing games being designed and created (maximized) for multiple devices and platforms. Developers are increasing (maximizing) the value of their IP. Game designers and artists are improving (maximizing) the overall quality of their games. New tools and resources are available to help improve (maximize) development time. Marketing and monetization strategies are emerging to enhance (maximize) overall game distribution, discovery, and revenue streams. Maximize Your Game reflects all of the exciting innovation we are seeing in the Flash games industry today.

When and Where is it?

The Conference is being held on March 4, 2012 at San Francisco in the Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF .

There are plenty of interesting speakers that have been selected with topics ranging from Flash artwork for your game to how to build your business from a one man operation into a small team. If Flash game development is your thing, you won’t want to miss it.

Save 15% with Envato or Win 2 Tickets

ActiveDen has graciously provided our Community with a promo code for saving 15% off the ticket price. Use the promo code: promo15_activeden.

On top of that, we have two tickets to give away. All you need to do is leave a comment in this Notes post explaining why they want to go FGS 2012 . We will choose the winner at random so start commenting!

P.S. As usual Envato employees can not enter to win the tickets. But look at the bright side, you get to work with me, and that’s worth far more than any free tickets :)

Note* Please leave your comments on the Notes post if you want to enter for the 2 free tickets. Do not leave them on this post. Thanks!

Sounds amazing, as always – a student’s budget doesn’t allow me to shell out for a trip to San Fran, though ;) But yeah, great speakers. Hope the talk by the ironhide guys ends up on their blog.
