I hate vista
Why do you hate it? Ive heard so many people complaining about things that were so easy to fix. Like that screen you get with “are you sure you want to open this file” (screen turns dark, message box appears saying that). You can just click one button in the user settings, and its gone!
Lots of those people first didnt want vista, but after I showed them my comp, they were like “Ooooh
I want that too!”.
So, what makes you hate it? Maybe we can fix it

I’ve installed two copies now. One on 32bit and one on 64bit. The 32bit seemed to have a nice performance boost but not so much for the 64.

that’s simple. I hate beeing strip off of 500Mb+ of ram. And I do not understand what the os its doing with that ram. There’s nothing loaded, no program, no systemtray things, no nothing. And it eat like 500 of ram.
The UAC was turned off from day one. still that’s not the problem. I’ve had a Dragon laptop from hp with vista, so no problem with the hardware.
An os its a very complicated thing, I can understand the complexity of creating something like that but what they do with vista its just with out an excuse.

Unfortunately switching back to XP does the same thing. I tried to change a Vista to an XP and lost half my RAM . Funny though it performed about the same.
No crashes yet on 7. That’s the main reason why I switched. Fingers crossed!
i used windows 7 safely without any firewall and antivirus for abt one month.
And it survived very well..
(although i still installed one after tat anyway)
love it so much..
