Windows 8 App - Feature Request

Hi,

I’m currently building an envato app for windows 8 (metro). The basics are there and I’ll be submitting it to the store mid next month.

Please if you have any feature requests wich you would like me to add let me know. Here are some screenshots:

I don’t like!....

congratz for programming but the interface looks a little old ( although the design is a trend of this year ) ..

The interface is kinda ugly, also does the app make use of the Charms Bar and/or the bottom bar? does it have any gestures?

I can’t find any reason why I would use this app rather than the browser itself, where I can hit the purchase button directly for example.

I don’t see any reason why I would use this over the browser itself. Oh, and one more thing, does it have Toast Notification on new sales/comments ? It seems like a good start, yet tons of features could be added, good luck with it!

You have good start there, but I would recommend getting inspiration from Windows Store regarding item purchase done via the app (if that’s possible). Also, like others have pointed out, the UI doesn’t look very attractive. Spacing, choice of colour and the overall design could be further improved.

Wow ! 2 of my items have been the “popular items last week”.. This app is still not out, but is already sooper useful !

I love the Metro style ! Brilliantly executed ! Can’t wait for the release.

One thing though.. How about you align the leftmost of the profile boxes (like balance, view profile, etc.. So that they match with the thumbnail of the author ? And how about just going with the flat green colour with slight transparency ??

Hi thanks for your feedback. Currently i’m still working hard on this app. As i see there are some stuff wrong with api calls (e.g. wrong free file of the month).

Installation instructions Unpack the zip file
Right click Add-AppDevPackage and choose run with powershell.
Give it some time and the app will be added to your startpage.

After opening fill in your settings and restart the app.

All feedback and bugs are welcome!

Currently the program is being validated by microsoft!

Alot of features have been added: Product detail pages, Caching and faster loading, Loader icons User detail page, Better layout
