I’m sure must of you already know that Windows 8 hit the RTM and now it’s available to download.
I’ve done a clean install (my previous OS was Windows 8 Release Preview), and my first impression was so bad… They completely removed the Aero Glass from window borders, and the taskbar is now transparent (with no option to change the opacity), with no blur on it which makes it so ugly.
Here are some ugly design issues:

.
So what do you think, will you switch to it?
Amazing! Gonna get it now!

These are all normal with MS. Previous records of design excellence, see reflection here:

I’m not sure what you are trying to highlight on that button, the blue border? If so, then that’s because that button was highlighted, although looks better than the current crappy called “Modern UI” from Windows 8.
So Microsoft made Windows 8 for the Surface Tablet?
Imagining how hard it is to click at the up/down button

Disregard the red highlight and see the reflection of the big blue-green graphics icon. One thing is sure, they don’t have quality control for design. They need to replace entire team or just Steve Ballmer.

I don’t see any problem with that. This is just their way to show that a button is highlighted.
