Yeah, they are both 64-bit capable but since I only have 4GB of ram (and don’t plan to get any more) there was nothing to gain from installing 64-bit Windows.

Although the windows OS can’t access the entire 4GB of RAM in 32bit mode… :D So you effectively have somewhere in the region of 3GB of useable ram in your windows boot ;-) :-P

Yap you are right if you have 32bit and 4GB ram on (XP/7/vista) the OS will use only 3.12GB so that’s the way it goes so its not 4GB
