Great idea It shouldn’t be a competition you should make it so no more submissions are accepted unless they are different The inventory is over saturated with clones. It’s getting so that themeforest is making template monster look like cutting edge.

Hmm, how ‘out of the box’ do TF allow? I made a theme when I first got here which looked like a Flash theme but meant for jQuery and CSS and they rejected it hence I don’t spend time developing website designs for TF.
So, how far can we go with originality before we get rejected?
I don’t mean this in a negative way, though there are always those who can’t read and are quick to judge, I am genuinely interested to know how off-the-wall TF allow us to be.

Just read through all the comments to get an idea of what “out of the box” entails.
My specialty is designing templates for use with Google Blogger (perhaps a little “out of the box” in itself?), but I do have a great idea which luckily I’ve already started work on.
It has already taken me several weeks to get started on the layout and since it is so different from anything I’ve designed before I was considering giving this away for free, but with this incentive I’m inclined to at least give it a try ;]
