Withdrawal fee

Hello world!

So, I did not have much luck with envato support and I wanted to see whether you had similar problems with this issue, and what is the possible solution.

Lately I’ve been doing withdrawal via International Transfer (Swift) and it would be awesome if the withdrawal fee was $35.00 Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Last time I was charged additional $65, making my withdrawal fee total of $100. I contacted my bank couple of times, and they are assuring me that do not charge any fee. Then I contacted envato support and they are assuring me that my bank is charging the fee. I triple checked with my bank, but no, they are just not taking additional money.

So my question is, who is then taking extra $65 from my funds? It would be easier if I only knew, where the money goes.

Thoughts?

EFEKT , if you remember we discussed this some months ago. Read the posts back then. I will tell you the same thing – the total fee is 35$ + your bank’s fee. The bank I use in Bulgaria charges additional 45$ which makes a total of 80$.. If the bank clerk tells you they do not charge anything – well.. he’s most probably incompetent. It is a transaction, it is almost 100% they charge for this service. Either that or there is a middle guy.. in any case someone must deal with this procedure on your side.. cant be free.

I still think there is some middle guy. I don’t know…

Envato cut $35 + My Bank cut $25 + Intermediary Bank (in US) cut $20 ! I dont know why but envato sending money to intermediary bank in US then this bank make swift to us.

Aha, so that’s the reason!!

Ok, I just called my bank for detailed explanation. Here is how things go. From the amount I withdrew last time, first envato took $35, my bank took, exactly $4 so the Intermediary Bank (which I do not know which is, only envato knows that), took $60

My bank has 2 Intermediary Bank in Australia, so it would be great for envato to tell us which is Intermediary Bank! Please!

My question to envato is: how to avoid intermediary bank in first place?!
