Their cut of shares? You should realize that it’s for Envato profit to keep your money as long as they can![]()
Behold the truth
Sometimes it is not so easy to fix such problems (not just changing the date). For example there might be such operation as “Closing Financial Period”. It generates many database transactions. As a result several database records may be modified and added for each user. If somebody start to modify / create records manually he/she can break database consistency (for example, forgot to change something somewhere).

^ Yes, the manual approach is not the way to go. But at the same time it is possible prevent these mistakes to some extent with notifications. The following 2 things will really help reducing missed ones:
1. Send a remainder to authors on every 29th or 30th (if they have more than certain amount on account).
2. Show the clock somewhere on the site.

Envato is greedy. Nuff said.
CodingJack saidI started by saying that there should be the option to be automated so I agree with you. BUT if it’s not automated, I found it very hard to forget that we have to go there and ask for the money across the whole 43.200 minutes of a month

And if it’s vital for a team it just reinforces my point of view.^ Not sure I understand.
Begin forced to withdraw at the end of the month is not optimal. The simple solution is to update the form for the “automatically withdraw all earnings” to accept more than one payment option.
P.S. This is the only thing I want for Christmas![]()

I’ve got in exact same situation yesterday. I was 100% sure that I requested withdrawal but turns out I didn’t. When I went back to check, I was 5-6 hours late.
It feels like you’re a stupid * who can’t do such a simple thing like pressing one button to get money. And it’s double-frustrating as Oct was very good by sales amount.
