All payment requests are processed at the start of each new month and paid out on the 15th of that month. For example, if you request a payout on the 20th of March, payment will be made on the 15th of April. If the 15th of the month falls on a weekend or Australian public holiday, payment will be made the next business day.
Why? Its always on the 15th? Why do i have to wait all that time? Is it easier for Envato to process everything the same day? Is it some Australian tax thing? I ask myself this every time i make a request for withdrawal, and i wonder if there are any possible alternatives. It would be nice if i can withdraw my earnings in a few days after passing the $50 requirement, not until the 15th of next month. Envanto has been established for a few years now, I think it would be nice if it were to implement a more mature withdrawal system now. Buyers dont have to wait til the 15th to deposit their money, us authors shouldn’t have to wait to withdraw ours…
What do you guys think? Or is the current processing date perfect? I invite all to please share your thoughts on the subject.

Well, think of it as a monthly salary. I think one month is a good thing as it allows you to build up more money to withdraw. Besides, envato is dealing with thousands of authors and to constantly get payout requests disrupts the payment process. I assume Payouts are not done automatically and there is a dedicated department which handles this which makes sense to have a monthly system. Most companies (big) here in India get their salaries on the 10th of every month and this maybe the case in other countries too.
