Today I tried to update my Wordpress site and the site went down because it couldn’t install some necessary files. I am using the Strikon theme. I was able to restore the missing files from an earlier back up to get the front end back up and running. But when I went to the Admin page it didn’t ask me to login. It said it needed to update the database. I did that and now it looks as though “no login is necessary” as it shows the menu down the left side to anyone who visits. I think this is a bug in the security when updating to the latest version of Wordpress or the Strikon Theme is not compatible with Wordpress 3.4.1?

Anyone have a solution to this? Thanks Paoloie

I’m running Strikon on 3.4.1 on two different sites and it is working fine. Try backing everything up and exporting and reinstalling

Did you make any changes to the theme files? I am sure without that, the theme can’t run on WP v3.4.1
