Hi Guys,

I need help in custom post type i have section(in website) for magzine (single-magazine.php) but the problem is in single-magazine.php page we use single post loop. SO is this possible in website magazine section can have totally different look and all posts come from magazine post_type section and when user click on any magazine post then it goes to single-magazine.php page.

I already created magazine custom post_type in Functions.php and also user rewrite slug feature but puzzled if user see magazine page section(in website) the template have to show what i seprately design for magazine section page. And also when user click on any post links in magazine section then single-magazine.php page have to show.

So guys i want to know iz it possible or i have to seperate install wordpress for magazine section.

You can display all custom post type posts using wp_query. Just create a page template.

Example:

<?php
    $wp_query = new WP_Query();
    $wp_query->query(
    array(
            'posts_per_page' => get_option( 'posts_per_page' ),
            'post_type' => '', /* Name of the post type. */
            'paged' => $paged
        )
    );
    $more = 0;
?>
