Now that WordPress is GPLed, is it ok if we redistribute the plugins we used in order to make it easier for the customer to install ?

I’ve purshased a couple of WP themes and they’ve included the plugins. So It won’t be a problem.

Yes, it is not allowed. May I know which theme you are referring to?

But if the plugins are created by the author or that is a custom plugin, that will be allowed.

In the screenshot ipad posted, you can see Convergence theme with plugins included.

Are you sure including plugins is NOT allowed now? I am referring to plugins from the official WordPress repository which also fall under GPL .
