PHP and integrated HTML fall under the GPL, which means buyers are free to use and distribute the PHP and integrated HTML, as long as they do so under the GPL. The 100% GPL option will apply the relevant GPL license version to your entire theme or plugin, which means others are free to deal with, sell or distribute the item (or its components), as long as they follow the requirements of the GPL.

correct

everywhere :D

except NOT here.

trust me is like this. if staff didn’t disappear would had come up and tell you this. But don’t know what happened with them. Since they made the minibundle thread they are not so active on the forum as before.

bll-fckn-sht (alas) :) You can find bits of Kriesi code even in very-very-very best sellers…

if this is true is not my fault that envato make a rule then ignore certain authors who break those rules as in the example bellow

GUYS

It is a 6 lines of codes from the SHORTCODE GENERATOR. No other code, nothing looks similar.

There is no code similarity and there can’t be on theme front-end files.

I use the below technologies that the other theme is not using:
+ SASS/Compass for my CSS,
+ Zurb foundation framework for HTML
+ Option Tree for theme options and metaboxes
+ Wordpress files are same throughout my themes (index.php, single.php, functions.php, and everything else) For example, same WP files are on my theme, Pupa, accepted 29 November 2012

Like I said, I will share my work with fellow authors, if you can mail me using my profile page.

Guys stop pretending that you do not know that authors are using other authors GPL code. That’s ridiculous.

House rules? Meh. Nowadays on TF nobody’s giving to much of a fck even about using logos of famous companies (which is copyright infringement)! And you are talking about some rules…

LOL :D Don’t confuse the strictness implied on copyright issues with policy issues! :D

Anyway, is this thread really needs to stay public participation?

But double standards are YOUR PROBLEM. Or will be, when applied to you ;)

How would you feel if they disabled your item based on GPL code? What if Kriesi decides to email support for functions he has released?

I even use the modified Zilla Likes plugin integrated into my themes. My theme has “Zilla” mentioned about 20 times.

Will it get removed because of this? Can ThemeZilla claim this after they have released the plugin on GPL?

I am just trying to understand.
