This is driving me mad! Something is changing in the DOM of the html or body or whatever in WordPress(constantly, through some javascript).. So i’m there inspecting things in the Inspector Console, then boom! Everything closes because something was changed in the DOM.. And i can’t figure out what’s wrong..
Has anyone experienced this before? It’s driving me mad because i can’t do anything properly!!!

Crazy plugins enabled?
I was impressed by a screen capturing plugin for chrome that always adds ‘screen_capture_injected=”true” ’ to the body tag of any site I visit.

nope.. i have no plugins installed and disabled all the WP plugins or includes that i have and Firebug still refreshes the page at a few minutes..
Could it be the use of modernizr? That one also adds classes and things to body or html

The weird thing is that i don’t see any class added to the html, but that’s the one which is flagged by firebug.. The change may be inside the body, but there is now way for me to find it..
When only firebug sees it, it’s often a clue that it’s added dynamically..

autoupdates!
the “Update” button gets a “pressed” class when WordPress makes an autoupdate to the page you’re editing, so that’s why Firebug interprets it as a DOM change and collapses everything..
but not only..:(
