Hi everyone,

I´m new on the wordpress world. I used to design hand-crafted websites and right now i´m trying to make a corporate web site with WP, but i need to have it in two languages at least.

Does anybody have tried the WP multilingual plugin or other method to have a multilingual website with WP? in special english- spanish?

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

Hi andresleonardo,

WordPress use GNU gettext for localization, you can follow this standard to create theme that support localization.

More information here : http://codex.wordpress.org/Multilingual_WordPress

Hope this helps :)

Do you actually need to duplicate all your content in both languages? If not I would just go with something a bit more simple such as the google translate button:
