I have a client that wants a poll added to his Wordpress blog. He wants every post to have its own poll with the same four questions. So essentially it’s almost more of a “rating” system than a poll. Anyone know of a plugin that would accomplish this task?
Thanks, Brian
Maybe you can search at: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=poll&sort= I think its helpfull to you. I have used one of my client website wp-polls.
This plugin has both polls and ratings http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/polldaddy/

Thanks for the links, but let me clarify a bit (I have already seen those plugins). Every post by default needs to have the EXACT SAME poll. That is, when the blog post is created, it needs to have a poll created with it automatically. Since all polls have the same four questions, I was thinking a rating system might do the trick since they already work like this. However, instead of the options of “1 star”, “2 stars”, “3 stars”, “4 stars”, or “5 stars”, the options need to be “question 1”, “question 2”, “question 3”, or “question 4” (all the questions are yes/no answers by the way). Is there anything out there that can accomplish this? Any ratings plugins that let you customize the values?
Hello Brian,
You could take the very basic poll offered on WordPress Extensions / Plugions (believe its called WP-Polls) and install it. Open the Plugin Editor and adjust the coding properly to present the options you want.
I would show you an example I did for a client about 6 months back but he has since changed his website some so it no longer includes it.
It wasn’t exactly the same as you mentioned above, but it was very similar. Other than that, I’ve no clue. I’d think you’d have to write something custom for that. I know there is a drop down poll plugin I saw a couple months ago wasn’t for wordpress though, but I’m sure it could be made use of in some way or another.
If interested, I could dig up that link for you. Might have to give me a few hours to find it though.
Best of luck and sorry I can’t help any more. Would be interested in hearing your solution when found. Perhaps this is a premium plugin someone should consider. Would be a hot topic!

Thanks for the excellent advice. Just hearing that you were able to take the wp-polls plugin and modify it for a similar project puts me at ease a bit. That is one of the plugins I was looking at (along with polldaddy). After speaking with the client further, it sounds as if this is going to work. Not sure yet if I’ll be going the poll route or the ratings route.
Again, thanks for all the great feedback.
I’m glad I was able to be of some help
Best of luck!

I was able to use the wp-polls plugin. It’s a really good plugin and easy to modify. Thanks again for the awesome info!
This is awesome news
I still think this has potential in the CodeCanyon Plugins category.
Someone really should consider this as an idea and go with it!
