I’ve seen some examples of embedding extra features to a theme and done it myself but, how about if I want to embed flickr plugin, popular posts plugin and such?

Any ideas?

Thank you!

just copy the full plugin to the functions.php file….

that’s all

-but you hav to be carefull.. about :
-this plugin will not be shown on the plugin section.
- imcompatibility with other plugins( already installed by the user)
-also there is no way to desactivate it (by the user , until he remove the code from function.php)

anyway , it is good for small plugins ,

Just place the code in functions.php and then call the function from your template files. Or you can create a widget out of it.
