Hi all,

I was just wondering what assets people tend to use when creating WordPress themes. For example, many themes have built in icons for use via shortcodes. What available resources are out there that can be used for commercial use?

Thanks, Paul

For icons, most people use FontAwesome or similar icon font libraries. Demo images – usually PhotoDune or other stock photo marketplaces, with an appropriate license.

Ive already started looking into FontAwesome which looks really good. What licenses are required when purchasing from Envato marketplaces when packaging the purchased item as part of a theme to re-sell?
