Hey there,

I’m currently developing a WordPress theme that I intend to sell on the ThemeForest market place.

One of the submissions for a theme is that it passes all the checks on the ThemeCheck plugin, I’ve been developing the theme in tandem with this to make sure there are no errors with my theme, however, I’ve included the ACF plugin and add-ons such as the repeater field, and this has caused the ThemeCheck plugin to throw a few errors. Am I going to have to modify the ACF plugin to fix these issues, or will Envato overlook this?

Thanks!

Don’t mind about the errors (i use acf too) but load the plugins with the tgm class which is mandatory.

Okay, will this TGM class prevent updates to the plugins etc?

Thanks

Nope, it will display an alert when a new version is available. Sorry, you must keep your theme up to date ;)

Yeah I understand about keeping it up to date, but it’s in the terms and conditions for including ACF into themes / plugins, that the update functionality is disabled.
