Hello!

I’m concerning what should I do. I’m makeing big project and I need nice site. I found perfect, but that is WP theme, I know HTML, CSS and so on… But the point is that I have feelings, that WP theme for big website could be unproffesional. Am I right? Is there any visible mark that I’m using WP theme. What’s more I have never used WP and I feel more comfortable in clear programming. Will WP good for huge project? Please guide me. Every advice will be worthy for me.

Thanks Greetings

No!

Big sites as CNN & Ebay use WordPress. So it’s not unprofessional at all.
In fact 19% (and counting) of the internet is based on WordPress. And if you really want (but why on earth would you?) it’s possible to hide the wp extentions in the source. Just take the theme to your liking and start building. Unless there is no need for a CMS. How often does the content need to be updated for example? If the answer to that question is not so much, HTML would be a good alternative.

Oh thanks bianca, that’s your second reply to me today :) I haven’t known that eBay is on WP, so thanks. You cleared all my concerns.

Have a nice day :)

Just a quick note, the whole eBay isn’t run off WordPress, I imagine just their blog is and for a reason.
