Don’t bother with built-in contact forms. There are certain things that should be left to plugins – contact forms is one of them.

oh yes – most do from what I know – certainly all of ours do as WPExplorer states it’s just the best way.

yes they have you have some knowledge of how to use WordPress… its better than learning to use your custom system thats less flexible than a extremely popular plugin

Contact form 7 is SO EASY to use and can easily explained in any documentation – even I get how to do it!
Jonathan01 & WPExplorer are two of the leading authors on here – I would take what they say as gospel.
