Hi, I am working on my first theme for Themeforest, its live at http://files.priteshgupta.com/vintage/. It just got rejected and needs significant improvement in typography, graphics and spacing (according to reviewer and I second it). However, I don’t have much idea what particular improvements I can do. I need help/suggestions on how can I improve its typography and spacing and how can I “polish” the whole template so that it can be “Themeforest-able”.
All help is really really appreciated! Thanks in advance
Hello priteshgupta, I think your theme is not so bad. But, as you’re a new author on TF, I suppose you should consider that you have to make a top-quality theme to get approved, because there are thousands of good themes on this marketplace. That means your theme must be almost perfect in any single aspect and respect some basic webdesign rules.
For example, the first things I would change are: align logo to left, add more space between titles and paragraphs in the blocks just under the slider, improve visual hierarchy of typography and of the elements, etc. A good website must be clear and readable. You can surely make it better! Don’t give up!
Looking good so far!
