I made a similar plugin when the API first came out called Envato Marketplace Feeds plugin. It does pretty much the same thing but with a nicer backend.

Nice plugins ,
BTW Jeffrey , just visited your blog. You should take off the “rarely updated” because you have like 2 post /days
Edit : I love your design BTW , you should create some theme here

Hehe. Well lately it’s only been updated once per week. Thanks for the compliment. I’d love to become more active as an author here, but between managing Nettuts+, ThemeForest, writing tutorials/screencasts for both, the mini-book I just finished, and sporadic freelance projects, I don’t have much time left over.

the mini-book I just finished
Did I hear Mini-Book? that’s good news
This plugin has a couple of compatibility issues
Firstly it uses file_get_contents to access an external URL which probably the majority of hosts disallow (like mine, I edited the file to use curl instead)
It also uses (but the WP page/blog post does not mention) json_decode a PHP function only in 5.2.0 and above

You work really hard , I’m sure you don’t need extra money
Why not widgetize this? Most people use widgets these days.
