It might have been asked before but I was not able to find the thread if there is one.
Would you accept Wordpress and/or Joomla plugins to the PHP Scripts section? If so, are there any limitations?

As long as they are PHP , I don’t see why not. I’d wait for Jeffrey to say something though.

I would also like to know the answer to this altough it would be hard to develop a WP plugin that is not already being offered out there for free (and i think that is one of the main factors for approval in the script areas).

I don’t think they can do WordPress plugins (not sure about Joomla) because of incompatibilities with the GPL license. I’d wait for an official response from Jeffrey, but I think this is the case

ThemeForest is a professional company and marketplace and they have to ensure they are in no way breaking any laws before proceeding with new features such as selling plugins. I am almost positive I have seen Jeffrey state that we cannot sell WP plugins due to licensing issues at the moment. Whether or not they are working on this, I do not know

Anyway, WP is millions of years away from Drupal. Discover the Drupal and save your life! (though TF is badly dominated by WP)
Wordpress doesn’t even have a menu system for God’s sake!

Themeforest could sell Joomla and Wordpress extensions as long as they were released under the GPL license. If TF doesn’t want to sell plugins under that license…then no…they couldn’t.
