Has anyone experienced this? I haven’t got any complaints from buyers yet, but i’ve tested this in several environments, both online and offline, both with modified and unmodified xml import files, and it seems that the importer isn’t downloading any attachments lately.

Everything gets imported perfectly fine, but the url’s of all the used media files (usually in meta) are still from the old website. Not even an image gets through..

Is this a bug with the importer, or?

Not had any issues so far here, just imported the standard WooCommerce XML to a production server with no attachment problems so far.

Try checking your php error logs, could be that image fetching fails on your local setup for whatever reason.
