WP Membership/Registration Plugin

Has anyone got a recommendation for a WP registration / sign up plugin?

My client is looking for a solution whereby only signed in users can access certain areas of the site. They don’t need charging or anything like that it is purely to ensure they maintain some control over teh contents audience.

Ideally it would let users register and perhaps restrict access to pages unless they are signed in.

Does anyone have any suggestions – if I haven’t been very clear do please ask and I’ll clarify.

Why use a plugin at all?

WP’s registration process + conditionals in the template files. Easy as that.

I use the Members plugin on one of my sites, what works perfectly.

It doesn’t have to be a plugin – I’ll freely admit to not knowing enough about WP to know all the options.

What I don’t want is them to log in to a blank dashboard really. Any more options?

I also suggest searching on your own, it’s pretty easy to find an array of different plugins, and there’s quite a few for the “member” category.

Thanks Monkify I think this is exactly what I need.

What was happening previously is people could register as subsribers but when they logged in they saw the WP Dashboard – i don’t want this, all I want is for them to log in to see content but ithink this plugin deals with this.

I did a fair bit of searching, tbh most dealt with premium logins etc. but I didnt see this one so I’ll try this!!
