Hey folks

just curious what the general opinion is here

Given these themes are all based on sections, where the menu is used to scroll to different bits, would you normally build support for WPs menus given the theme needs to have a certain menu layout to work?

Yes, of course.

There are few different ways to build up theme like this. But I would do that like this:

Build normal pages, build the menu, pull the pages into one dinamically (based on the menu items).

My theme was once soft rejected saying that it should support menus in some kind or other if not using WPs menus.

In short, there should be a way for users to control the menu items rather the theme doing it on itself.

Hmmm, ok well this is how I thought made sense to me

Basically, users can enable/disable each section (as on about us/contact form etc) and re order them via the options, this process also controls which menu items are shows and in which order

Does that make sense? To me it fits really well for this kind of single page theme and also seems easy for users too, but im now doubting myself
