Hey Guys and Gals

I teamed up with another TF author and we’re excited to work together on some upcoming files. We created a WP version of my Band template that was just an html version. My html version was approved but when we tried to upload our WP version we got some message from the reviewer that really makes no sense since the original template is on sale on TF. Ok check out the WP version and tell me if the 2 templates are not identical. http://www.thysta.com/themehun_band/

This was the reviewers feedback: Usually, I’d be able to provide more specific feedback but I’m afraid that isn’t the case here. Every aspect of your design will need to be improved, significantly. You will need to make some additional improvements in overall aesthetics and aspects such as typography, graphics, and spacing.

I strongly suggest that you take a fresh look at your design, evaluate the basics and make improvements as necessary. You might consider taking a look at some of our most popular items to gain a better idea for what we’re looking for at this time. You can view our popular items.

Cheers

Hi Lester! If your Wp version got rejection, may be it has problem with back-end (Theme Options) and something about functions and with vague information of reviwers (what we have discussed). :)

Well that’s just it we did not get a response if it’s the backend or frontend. So it’s kinda hard to go by. Yes the the info is very vague and honestly i am getting really sick and tired of this. It frustrates the crap out of me because of all the work that was put into this and you get a lame review. I am sorry if i sound rude but come on guys give me something to go by.

Cheers

You can submit a ticket asking if the reviewer can provide more specific details.

HTML version does deliver the required quality, but for WP, your theme has to be shiny in all possible details: typography, graphics, as well as uniqueness.

Your WP should come as a huge upgrade for your concept, I think that’s what makes your reviewer reject your theme.

Well that’s just it, the big word we are trying ti figure out is the “maybe” but we don’t really know what the exact issues are. Maybe this maybe that you know what i mean. It is not much to go by.

the post pages look odd, especially with the comments section being under the main image, and the main image on the post / single page looks stretched. That is killing the design for me.

But to say ‘every aspect is bad’ is just out of line and lazy… but that’s what’s wrong with the world today. People are lazy as f#ck and don’t wanna go above and beyond to provide customer satisfaction.

I feel the reviewers always contradict themselves. Why HTML template got accepted but WP not for “design reason”, so how’s level of the aesthetic for each category?

I personally think that some effects just pop out so much that they don’t pay any attention to details.
