I think a series of WP tuts will be good. Something like ‘from beginner to advanced’, so clients won’t need us (the authors) to create something basic. Anyway, I would be happy to help in any kind of WP tutorial.

Good idea! +1

Maybe some articles like “How to use Wordpress featured images”, even “How to install Wordpress and themes”. Eventually, it would be a good idea to include more advanced stuff, like “How to use custom fields”.

Something that we can link our buyers when they have problems with the usage of Wordpress.

As contempoinc said, http://www.wp101.com/ has some nice screencasts, but they are not free.

I would also be happy to contribute if you need help.

I think it would be a great way to reduce the support requests that we receive , about problems that are caused by incompetence using Wordpress.

Please try to re-start support for your themes here, very much of your buyers have problems now with WP3.5, but we not get any support. YOu not answer for comments since around 1 year, up to WP3.4 for example Celtabusiness works well, but now much people have problems, and need a update or advice.

Hope you read this Thank you and Happy New Year for all

@kriskorn
That we not looking for :) I pay for a theme because I cant do alone, and create websides for me is just a hobby, Im not a professional. So I buy, because I need support from theme builders. I can handle that the content of my webside is that what my profession need, I just not have time to be a webside professional.

But your advice help me also to understand my business more better now, so next time when one of my customer come to me and ask, I also will tell him “Check your operating instructions”, because I know from there how your product work. ;)

From 99% of the authors on envato I get very nice support when I need, never I hear things like 2 posts before, so I know they are professionals.

btw : I just write here because I hope that the celta-man(woman) read this … no need to answer for anyone

Great idea + this > as when you file a ticket for support, results to relevant issues in knowledge base appear as you’re typing, this would come handy if implemented for authors comment page so that it fetches relevant articles from the WPTuts+ or other blogs.

Helpful Information

  • Please read our community guidelines. Self promotion and discussion of piracy is not allowed.
  • Open a support ticket if you would like specific help with your account, deposits or purchases.
  • Item Support by authors is optional and may vary. Please see the Support tab on each item page.
