Hi everybody. I’m in need of some “design” oriented tutorials for NETTUTS . We’ll pay you $150 for a tutorial.
I’ll leave it to you to determine the topic. But make sure that it’s generic enough to appeal to a large audience. Respond to this thread with your tut idea and I’ll let you know if we’re interested.

How about one on the golden ratio, divine proportion, rule of thirds, etc. maybe with some web page anatomy and/or page balance?

@xmdsys – Oh, neat idea – especially if you can find a bunch of examples to back up your points.
If you can get a full tut with images to me in the next day or so, I can post it this week.

Ok, sounds good. It’s almost 11pm here… so, I’ll have it to you in the morning?
...oh noes! I just realized I’m getting older, lol. I remember the days of staying up until 3am and going to work at 7am.

I would love to make a series of tuts with followups covering one whole project, from clients brief to defining the structure, pointing out key elements, idea, putting it on the paper, converting to PS design, grid system design, colors, typography etc. to final deliverable product.
By the way
@JeffreyWay: It would be good if i get a response for a tutorial that I have sent to NETTUTS 2 weeks ago.

Hey Jeffrey,
I am still planning on writing the article that we talked about via email soon. I cant say that I can have it in tomorrow, probably the day after christmas. Is this ok and should I still plan on writing it?

Hi,
Here are a few of my ideas:
- finding the balance between simplicity and usability - form design - the importance of text in design - placing your elements (logo, ads, menu) - sound design for your sites - design for a certain platform – make your work easier using add-ons
Cheers
My two cents; How to use Fibonacci numbers and Golden Spiral in web designing.

@Adrian – Unfortunately, grammar is very important for these articles. Otherwise, I have to spend thirty minutes correcting the article.

All, the most important things when submitting an article to ThemeForest/NETTUTS…
1) Use plenty of images. It helps visual learners. 2) Proper grammar. 3) Use plenty of headings, bullets, etc.
