ouch. Real low blow :p

But seriously trading games shouldn’t be banned. I almost exclusively buy games second-hand unless I’m totally hyped about them. The new releases are way too costly.

I’m also pretty sure that Sony is going to release a slimmer version within an year. I think I’ll wait for that. This one looks very fat.

Yea, also, its very hard to find original disks in our country :/ so we’re gonna be in trouble i guess… PS4 will be much more convenient

it used to be like that here some 2 years back. But now we’re getting day 1 release of almost all the games except for JRPGs. So availability is not a problem anymore. It’s just the price and even that is on-par with US pricing but still it sounds way more costlier when converted to Rupees :p

The bottom line is Microsoft is trying to take over your living room and, perhaps, watch what you do, and Sony is trying to snatch more gamers to the console as it seems more gamer friendly. Microsoft is trying to enter other markets and it just seems gaming isn’t as important to them as it is to Sony. I’m not bashing Microsoft or anything. Ive owned an Xbox360 and I own a PS3 … I just prefer Sony.

As a 360 owner, I must say, this is quite accurate. I find it somewhat funny that expanding to “other markets” has become their target and a “gaming console” the means to do it… They basically managed to alienate any gamer with serious privacy concerns, or simply wanting a bit of added mobility and flexibility.

I understand the DRM concept behind this, but don’t really feel it’s worth the sacrifice of privacy. What I find amusing somewhat is the fact that you’d expect Sony (as a media giant, more plagued by sharing than Microsoft, due to the simple fact that their portfolio expands into other media, not just software) to pull this move, but the paradox is that you’re getting Sony be the “cool guy” letting the children play, pay for the hardware and get kickin’ and Msft acting all “big brother” on you :)

Needless to say, I’m not going to buy either any time soon, as I rarely even clean up the dust off of my 360, which still is good for my limited time and gaming needs every few months or so…

When I was a kid (and weather wasn’t sunny) me and my friends used to play videogames together and share our games and have great fun because it was A GAME. Today’s kids are totally captured by technology and they can’t live without it, and 95% of times they play alone in their room because if they want to talk to their friends they have smartphones and computer. And they don’t need to learn anything because there’s an APP that can do it for them! Poor world..

Sorry for this little outburst ahahah btw I play videogames 1 hour a day, and somedays I don’t even play.. I’m not a maniac.. but I always been with sony and.. YOU CAN BET YOUR A** I’M BUYING A PS4! :-D

I don’t play most of the time because the new games don’t work on my pc, and the old games, well i’ve finished them a couple of times :D but when i do start playing, i play non-stop all day :p Now i’m just playing San Andreas online, its much more fun with multiplayer, and there’s a lot of gamemode scripts and mods which is just awesome! :D i can’t play the other games online because most of the games which come here are not original and are cracked very badly, only single player works… :|

I’ve had all three Playstation systems and loved them all, I’ve never had anything against XBOX but the XBOX One looks terrible compared to the PS4.

Microsoft just announced some changes to Xbox One policy based on gamer feedback: http://bit.ly/19SICUg

Does this change your mind? Which system are you going to be gaming on this fall? #systemwars #gaming
