Hi,

It happened two times until now. After client edited xml, it contained junk characters in the very beginning of the xml file so my flash (or flex) file didn’t parse the xml and showed error.

If I save the same XML (from my windows machine) in a notepad without modifying anything, it works correctly.

In one instance I am sure client was using a mac, not sure about second.

Have any of you also faced any such issue, if yes what is the exact solution ?

And strangest thing is that if I browse to the hosted XML file directly (in IE) it displays correctly. but when loading inside the flash content, if I see it through firebug it shows junk characters.

happened to me also some time ago , and I remember that it was the editor’s fault (certain editors add some extra stuff).
