Batman: The Dark Knight Rises number one for me, I also thought The Hunger Games was brilliant as was The Amazing Spiderman. Avengers was good too. In terms of comedies Ted was funny, Project X (http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt1636826/) is a fairly low budget film but it was hilarious in places!
I really liked Chronicle too. I could probably go on forever so I’ll stop there

Although it doesn’t count here, i also started to watch Boardwalk Empire & Breaking Bad this year and these are some of the best i’ve seen (next to Entourage, of course )
