Hi everyone, with the new year just around the corner we’ll all be making a few resolutions we can break by March, some of us I guess will include career in those reso’s. With that in mind, what’s your dream job?
Personally, I’ll be going to University here in the UK to get a degree for ‘Medai design with Typography’...the Fighter Pilot thing is on hold for now (:
Well, I am going to university as well and I am going to do computer science, I have applied to Cambridge and would love to get it, but I doubt that I will.
As for my dream job, I would love to do something that changes the lives of many people maybe work for a company like Google or Envanto?
Going to uni to study Mechanical Engineering. My dream job is to design for a rekonwned car firm / racing team xD
Selling ice cream in the north pole.
Designing a website, big interactive application or do some back-end coding for a very large, well known company
Designing a profitable web app, become CEO of the company behind it.
Plan is there, working it out
I want to make lots of money with web design and then create and app or a framework and make it open source like CakePHP has done.
Well, for me, anything related to design that brings in the cash and helps add up to that portfolio, is definitely on my “goooood” list. I am currently studying architecture abroad and since costs are high, my parents could not support me for very long, so forgive my “materialistic ideal” but if I don’t make about 10k Euros a year, I’m pretty much …. in a bad place
I dreamed of rally driving, but that’s not something you can get into on your own, no matter your skill level and dedication for improvement, if you start it 21 years of age… unless you have money.
I find it funny, people who’ve had parents push them around at young ages, into racing rookie cups, drawing classes and so on and so forth, and manage to do something related to that, complain that they had no freedom… I never was pushed into doing anything except learning English, German and French, where 2 of them were on my own option.
My resolution is to finish + – 20 files split between GR and TF and maybe by next September have half the money I need… and in the meanwhile start freelancing, and learn AS3 by March.
Thanks for opening another great topic… and sorry for letting out my frustration on here as well.
