Sinclair ZX80, followed very quickly by a ZX81, whole day spent copying code out of a book only to have it go to waste as the tape stopped working, those were the days.

This exact PC from the screenshot was my first touch with the computers back in 1989 :)
It was an unbelievable experience – 640K RAM, 4,77 MHz and 20MB HDD :D

I don’t know the specs, but I can remember it used floppy disks, everything was green. and the most memorable of it all was that me and my older brother would sit during the school holidays under a blanket and play Montezuma’s revenge. Back in the carefree days.

Am I dreaming or nobody referenced the Great Amiga 500 yet?
If I am not mistaken, in Terminator II – Judgment Day, They used Amiga 4000s for the effects.

BBC Micro B. Christ, I feel old

.

Many wonderful hours spent playing Alpha Centauri, Citadel, The Last Ninja, Elite and Chuckie Egg. Not to mention spending 2 days typing out game code bit by bit from a huge book only to find it wouldn’t work because of one character that was incorrect on line 10380.

I’ve had computer since I was born (92). It was a PC running MS-DOS. I loved playing games on it, especially Alley Cat and Supaplex. And Aladin. And Prince of Persia. I’m in love with video games since my birth :D
